Is Greater Noida West risky for an under-construction purchase?
The location is not the risk, the promoter is. Several projects here stalled between 2014 and 2019 and buyers waited years. Read the promoter's complaint count and delivery slip on the project page, check the RERA quarterly progress filings against what you see on site, and treat any unregistered project as off-limits for a booking amount.
When will the metro reach Greater Noida West?
An extension from Sector 51 has been proposed and studied since 2018 but is not sanctioned to a construction timeline. Today the nearest Aqua Line access is Depot Station, roughly 8.5 km by road. Treat the extension as upside, not a reason to pay a premium now.
