Privacy Policy

Who we are

99yards operates this website at 99yards.in. We are a real estate advisory covering Noida and Greater Noida. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, mobile number, email address, and the message you write in an enquiry form.
  • Enquiry context: the page you submitted from, the project you enquired about, and your stated budget or configuration preference.
  • Campaign attribution: UTM parameters and referring URL, so we know which advertisement or search brought you here.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser user agent, recorded with each submission for fraud prevention and rate limiting.

We do not collect financial account details, government identifiers, or any special category data through this website.

Why we use it, and your consent

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box on an enquiry form. The specified purposes are:

  • To contact you by phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp about the enquiry you submitted.
  • To send you the specific asset you requested (price sheet, brochure, floor plan) where applicable.
  • To share matching property options with you, including projects other than the one you enquired about.
  • To arrange and confirm site visits.
  • To measure which pages and campaigns generate enquiries.

Because you provide consent for us to contact you, that consent operates as your express request to be called notwithstanding any DND or NDNC registration on your number, for this enquiry.

Who we share it with

We share your data only as follows, and only for the purposes above:

  • The developer of the project you enquired about, where a site visit or booking requires it. We tell you before we do this.
  • Our processors: our customer relationship management provider, our email and messaging delivery providers, and our web host. Each is bound by contract to process your data only on our instructions.
  • Google, as our analytics provider. Google Analytics receives page views and anonymous interaction events with a truncated IP address. It does not receive your name, phone number or email, and we do not link your enquiry to your Analytics session.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with unrelated brokers. Being called by six different agents after one enquiry is a common experience in this industry. It is not how we operate.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for 24 months from your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted. If you withdraw consent earlier, we delete it within 30 days of your request except where we must retain a record to comply with law.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

  • Access: ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with.
  • Correction and erasure: ask us to correct inaccurate data or erase data we no longer need.
  • Withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it. We stop contacting you and delete your data.
  • Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with us first; if unresolved, escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
  • Nominate: nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these, email contact@99yards.in with the mobile number you used. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and which of them lead to an enquiry. It sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and similar) that give you an anonymous identifier so repeat visits are recognised as the same session rather than as new people. We have IP anonymisation switched on, so your address is truncated before Google stores it.

What we look at is aggregate: page views, which projects get attention, whether the calculators get used, and which pages produce enquiries. We do not use Analytics to identify you, and we do not connect it to the contact details you submit in a form.

We set no advertising cookies and run no retargeting or ad-network tags. If that changes, this page changes first.

The analytics script only loads once you interact with the page, so a visitor who leaves immediately is never sent to Google at all. You can block it entirely with any browser tracking protection, an extension, or Google's own opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Separately, we use your browser's session storage to remember which campaign referred you, so attribution survives if you submit an enquiry a few pages later. That is not a cookie, it never leaves your browser until you submit a form, and it is cleared when you close the tab.

Security

Enquiry data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a database that is not publicly accessible. Access is limited to staff who need it to respond to you. We will notify you and the Data Protection Board without undue delay if a breach affects your data.

Children

This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. Material changes to how we use your data will be notified to you directly where we hold your contact details.
